On January 13, 2024, Palar Agricultural College in Vellore celebrated Pongal Day with great enthusiasm. The event saw a vibrant participation from both staff and students. Thiru. K.C. Veeramani, the Chairman, graced the occasion as the chief guest, alongside Dr. Y. Hariprasad, the Principal and Mr. Delhi Babu, a prominent lawyer. The festivities included engaging activities such as Pongal cooking, sugarcane breaking, pot breaking and various cultural events. It was a joyous occasion that showcased the rich traditions and spirit of the Pongal festival, fostering a sense of community and celebration among all participants.
